Made a point of watching this as FF2013 build up. It has some great scenery and admire it's attempt to do things seriously.
But.. Gosh it was dull. Makes you realise that slow zombies, even if you know they're going to chew your arm off when they catch you, can be pretty boring monsters to have around.
Adds nothing new to the genre and takes the 'slow zombie' to a whole new level - the 'glacial zombie'. I thought it might redeem itself by ending on an incredibly bleak note, but unfortunately it spoils this with a cheesy message about the perpetuity of hope, symbolized by the bequeathing of an heirloom. Day of the Dead it ain't.
Are you crazy? I loved this film!
ReplyDeleteWhat were the good bits?
ReplyDeleteI'm kidding, I haven't seen it. Vile reference, dude.
ReplyDeleteI should've said that to him.
