    Ramped up the fear well but five kids in make up just weren't as interesting as a child eating demon who stubbornly refused to make more than a relative cameo.

    Some great creepy and scary stuff. Ethan Hawke's great as well. Story didn't convince me at all though. Tacky looking demon and kids in halloween make-up.

    Despite every plot development being fairly obvious (the only exception being I wasn't sure which kid it would be til halfway thru) it had a great atmosphere and effective scares. Helen almost pulled my arm out of it's socket on multiple occasions.
