A riot of bad decision making leads to a wildly inventive interpretation of the Slasher movie. Impressive for a debut, but even more impressive as an entire country's first horror film.

The fallout will be existential
Lots of ideas hung on a neat concept. Most work and it all holds together as a cohesive whole. Very good indeed.
ReplyDeleteReally good debut from the directors of the best film at last year's Frightfest. Keshales and Papushado are definitely ones to watch.
ReplyDeleteGood use of politics in a horror movie! Normal place keeps everyone trapped and makes them act crazy. Not perfect, but definitely worth watching.
