Hobo With A Shotgun

A loving homage to the kind of eighties exploitation schlock that always failed to deliver the level of sleaze promised by some impressively lurid cover art.
Only this delivers in fucking spades.

  1. Despite being set in a contemporary dystopia that makes absolutely no sense, a stand out performance from Rutger Hauer, some choice dialogue ("I'm going to wash my blood off my face with your blood") and violence that is both uncomfortable (a woman having her head sawn off) and gleefully insane (stabbing someone in the chest with a shattered bone that's still sticking out of your arm!?) it ends up being, probably, the best of the new wave of Grindhouse movies.
