The Killing Of A Sacred Deer

An old school curse rendered all the more chilling by stilted dialogue, the director's obsession with the physiology of aging and the characters eventual blank acceptance of their fate.

  1. I found the monotone delivery off-putting at first, but then it seemed to add another layer of weirdness to proceedings. I really like that streak of black humour running through the pervading sense of unease too.
