The World's End

Very good but certainly the least of a fine trilogy.

  1. Lacks the focus and charm of Shaun and Hot Fuzz, but is still consistently laugh out loud funny. Like Jedi it is bloody good, just nowhere near as good as it's predecessors.

  2. Edgar Wright can certainly direct proper action. Also nice to see the Sightseers couple in cameos. And made me wonder if I'd forgotteb Roger Moore as King of the Zombies in Shaun of the Dead.

  3. Agree with all the above. Despite being slightly strained at times, really enjoyed it - it actually delivers on what the trailer promises, which already puts it in the upper echelon of films. Made me want to go home and listen to Sisters of Mercy! This Corrosion on the end credits... great :-)

    1. Fascinating incite into the scalpel-like minds of the BBFC. Imagine contextualizing cunts for a living.
