Pacific Rim

 
The giant robot vs. giant lizard cartoons are ace. The live action but distinctly wooden soap opera that fills the gaps between them is not.

    4 great action sequences strung together by not great cliches and wooden characters (although I did enjoy Charlie Day as Rick Moranis). Fun, but massively disappointing.
