I'm imagining a lot of orchestral blasts to let you know when to jump
ReplyDeleteUnoriginal, but slickly effective horror - think Amityville meets The Exorcist meets Insidious meets The Orphanage etc etc.
ReplyDeleteEffective scares, but I was left wondering whether a more unique film could have been seen were James Wan as accomplished at the human drama side of things as he clearly is at utilising spooky trees/music boxes/dolls/wardrobes/faces in windows etc.
