Disney stretch their formula to the furthest extremes resulting in overanimated squidginess.
Charlotte felt the film would have been better if nobody turned back into a human at the end despite the complications this would create for the story's climax. I found it difficult to argue against "He seemed pretty happy as a candle, he was singing songs and everything".
I feel the same about the mouse cop-out at the end the Witches movie.
