Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

In which Tomas Alfredson wields subtlety and grace with a power far exceeding the primary coloured hyperbole being excessively splashed about in Hollywood.
Truly magnificent.

  1. A sublime adult drama whose only real problem is one piece of casting made the mole fairly obvious despite having never read the book or seen the series.

  2. It's a bit odd how it's all supposed to be a big whodunnit, but it's pretty obvious throughout. I suppose that's the point - Smiley knew all along.

And yes it's a boring cliche, but although the movie was great, it wasn't a patch on the book.
