Never Let Me Go


The Island with doomed romance in place of the car chases and glum acceptance in place of adrenaline fuelled escape.
Much better than The Island.

    A sublime understated drama. My only criticism is something of a paradox... There is a scene towards the end that I felt should have been truly heartbreaking, but because we see everything through very distant, accepting eyes it isn't. But the reason the film is so wonderful is because we get that distant point of view.

    Just watch it, it's great.
