Unfortunately none of the forced jollity, zany antics or inspired segues are enough to cover up the fact that quite clearly nobody making this gives a single shit about it.

    Nicholson and Hopper blow almost the entire budget on cocaine leaving us with a series of Monkee TV deleted scenes cut together with some stock footage and an intro and outro they must have shot on day 1 before they became too incapacitated to shoot anything else.
