Dunkirk [IMAX]


An orchestra of evocative WW2 imagery conducted by Nolan's typically tricksy grasp of time. The teenager gave it a positive monosyllable.

    Powerful stuff. Visuals and sound were amazing. But clearly the story was so dull to Nolan he had to play silly buggers with the timelines. It wasn't a disaster but it definitely created distance from the drama.
