    JJ Abrams gets around Star Trek's overly talky nature by setting most of those "why are you all talking, this is an action sequence" sequences in the middle of ridiculous action. This gave the film an unrelenting pace that made everything fly by in an entertaining manner before you had a chance to ponder the ridiculousness of it. Really good fun.

    Brilliant. Just what I was looking forward. Sure it annoyed die hard fans and trek haters equally. Pitched just right for me. Even Simon Pegg was good!
