Was very much looking forward to a movie based on video gaming, fuelled by its rich history and constant reinvention.
Was very much disappointed by the bland bollocks i got served about 'being who you are' and 'finding your place' that mostly takes place in a shitty Mario-Kart rip off, with 20 mins of half-assed video game references slapped on the beginning so they can populate the poster.
Based on the poster I wouldn't have even watched this. Where's Jet Set Willy? Where's Michael Williams?
ReplyDeleteGreat fun kids adventure packed full of wit, well written characters and invention that even had a twist I didn't (but should have) seen coming and the kind of messages (don't let your job define you, follow your dreams) that it is nothing but good to teach kids. I'm completely with Charlotte on this one: it's ace!
