Hit all my nostalgia buttons. For the briefest of moments Charlotte's cinematic opinions aligned with my own: "Yeah, I really liked the songs, it was awesome. But Journey 2: The Mysterious Island was better". Moments don't get much briefer.
Oh Ed, now you're watching kids' films? So disappointed...
I did like it, but it had pacing and plotting problems, as well as Chris Cooper rapping so badly it had to be subtitled. Also I get very uncomfortable watching Jason Segal's mole-ridden face. Biopsy now, Jason. But Amy Adams is lovely.
The Toy Story short rocked and featured a support group for happy meal toys.
Pretty good, but the toy story short beforehand blew it out the water
ReplyDeleteReally?! I'd be surprised. The Muppets is probably the only kids' film reviewed on here that I've actually wanted to see.

Bloody Toy Story. I had to turn the first one off after about half an hour. Couldn't take any more.
ReplyDeleteLike someone took the chemical that makes you smile, converted it to celluloid and projected it for 100 minutes. Journey 2 must be a masterpiece!
