This is what Joefest is all about. Cheap, nasty, exploitative and with a touch of magic. Loved it - best of the fest.
ReplyDeleteAfter many years, we finally got some hardcore at Joefest. In true Joefest style the actual porn was shoddily inserted after the fact. Metaphor? Highly entertaining, and gave birth to the Joefest cry of "Finger up the bum!".
ReplyDeleteAside from the wholly unnecessary hardcore sex awkwardly spliced into it, this had an undeniable style that earns it a morally questionable ‘like’. I put this down to two things, first the mute, captivating composure of our one-eyed hooker (not by choice) and secondly the insistence on most revenge kills being shot in near silent slow motion (and the quietness of the movie in general, completely lacking a score.)
